Full-Time Qualifications

Occupational Certificate: Diesel Mechanic

Maintain, test, and repair commercial vehicles over 3 tons, including engines, mechanical parts, transmissions, suspension, steering, and brakes.

Occupational Certificate: Automotive Motor Mechanic

Maintain, test, diagnose and repair petrol and diesel light motor vehicles, including engines, fuel systems, electric systems, transmissions, suspensions, steering and brakes.

Occupational Certificate: Transportation Electrician

Test, diagnose, service, replace, repair and maintain automotive electrical wiring, electrical and electronic systems and their components.

Occupational Certificate: Fitter and Turner

Fabricate metal parts, fit, assemble, maintain and repair mechanical components, sub-assemblies and machines.

Additional Programmes

Occupational Certificate: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Diagnose faults, repair heavy equipment such as earth moving or mining equipment.

Occupational Certificate: Heavy Equipment Mechanic Assistant

Remove, install and perform services on heavy-duty vehicle sub-systems and its components.

Occupational Certificate: Tractor Mechanic

Maintain, diagnose and repair tractors, agricultural machinery and their components.

Occupational Certificate: Tractor Mechanic Assistant

Assist with the maintenance and repairs of tractor system components.
